Strings Day 2019 – 17 August; we held a successful workshop at the Ashburton Arts Centre. Musicians from many local orchestras joined us to work on Barber’s Adagio, Hindemith’s Funf Stucke and Tschaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, and we gave a free informal recital to the public to close the day.

Such a brilliant concert last night… my favourite composers and superbly played. Congratulations and thanks to everyone for a memorable evening.
