The ethos of the orchestra is to enjoy playing together while exploring varied programmes of music, and to give pleasure to those who come to listen to us.
Young Musicians
The orchestra is keen to encourage young musicians and to offer them opportunities to join in at a level with which they feel comfortable and which will help them to develop their skills.
Young musicians are welcome to bring their instruments along to the Friday evening rehearsals, accompanied by a responsible adult. These take place during term time and are currently held in Totnes Methodist Church, Fore Street, Totnes TQ9 5RP from 7.30pm – 9.30pm (see Rehearsals). There may be opportunities to perform with the orchestra.
